Moment Launch Impressive New Camera Sling

So when they dropped their second sling and it skidded across our desk, we were pretty eager to have a play.

Two sizes, multiple gear setups

The Rugged Camera Sling comes in a 6L and 10L option to accommodate a variety of loads, whether you’re a photographer, drone user, filmmaker or all of the above.

The 6L option measures 13″ x 7.5″ x 4.5″ (33cm x 19cm x 11.5cm) and weighs 1 lb. 6 oz. (622g). The 10L sling measures 14.5″ x 8.25″ x 5.5″ (37cm x 21cm x 14cm) and weighs 1 lb. 12 oz. (790g).

Putting access front and center

Photography often requires quick and convenient access to gear on the fly. And that’s what the Rugged Camera Sling provides. The sling can be swung from your back to your front without needing to take the bag off. A top-loading dual zippered opening reveals your gear for easy retrieval or storage, and once you’re done you can sling it back out of the way to get on with the task at hand. And for added functionality, the sling’s ambidextrous shoulder strap suits both left and right-handed users.

Getting on top of organization

Keeping camera gear organized helps to protect it and make it more accessible. So Moment have included two removable padded dividers that allow you to create compartments for organizing various gear setups. Additionally, the interior features a slip pocket for a tablet and a zipped pocket with its own internal organization to store smaller accessories and day-to-day items.

It’s made with NorthPak, a tough and waterproof fabric crafted from 100% recycled polyester fiber and film. Made by the sailcloth experts at North Sails, the fabric results in significantly less CO2 emissions than manufacturing virgin nylon or polyester fabric. Adding to the protection are water-resistant YKK zippers, ensuring your gear stays safe and sound whatever the weather has in store.

Comfort that’s ahead of the curve

Even small camera gear setups can be heavy to lug around. So Moment designed the sling with a padded winged back panel that curves around the body for comfortable carry over extended periods of time.

The sling also has a wide and padded quick-release strap to help distribute weight effectively for increased comfort, while an included stability strap keeps the load stable and secure during active use.
