Carry Collaborations

Alpine Sea Co x Carryology | The Everywhere Collection
We’re proud to add another Essential to our range.
And this time, it’s a complete system, one we’ve been thinking about for a long time.
The Everywhere Collection is built with our friends at Alpine Sea Co.: a family of pockets, organizers, and kits designed to hold your day together, wherever it takes you. Tuck them into a backpack, sit them on a desk, drop them into a carry-on — they work anywhere, and they work together. Each piece is designed to suit different load-outs and use cases, easy to grab, easy to identify, and easy to move between bags without missing a beat.
This is a carry system that’s essential to carry, and designed to go everywhere.

Who Are Alpine Sea Co.?
Kristin and Robert Morano are a husband-and-wife design duo with deep roots in the soft-goods world — Rip Curl, Vans, DaKine — who made a bet on themselves when DaKine left Hood River in 2020. Rather than chase the next corporate gig, they sat on their porch, worked through every permutation, and chose the harder path: build something of their own, from scratch, on their own terms.
What they’ve built is genuinely rare. Everything is made by hand, in small batches, in their Oak Street store and workshop. They’re not farming production out or chasing volume — they’re sewing, listening, iterating, and making things better one piece at a time. Designs evolve from real use and real feedback.
Cross the threshold of their Hood River store and you feel it immediately. It’s a space that reflects who they are: considered, community-minded, deeply connected to the Pacific Northwest. And more often than not, the founders are right there, sewing away at the back.
Their tagline is Transitional Goods / Radical Vibes. Ask them what it means and they’ll tell you simply: make things locally, support the community around you, and help people move through their day — and their life — with a little more ease. In an era of disposable goods and distant supply chains, that’s a radical act.
It’s also exactly why we wanted to build something with them.

The Mini Pocket
Let’s start small. Very small. The Mini Pocket is one of those objects you’re not entirely sure you need until it quietly becomes indispensable. At a quarter of a liter, it’s barely bigger than the credit card it’s designed to hold, and it arrives with an aluminum carabiner that clips it to just about anything. A belt loop, a pack strap, a set of keys, even the dog’s lead. The options really are endless.

For example, it’s easy to use as a stripped-back wallet. A card, a folded note, a spare key, and you’re on the move immediately. For travel it’s brilliant, and on the days when a full sling feels like overkill, it’s exactly the right amount of carry. There’s a coated YKK zip keeping everything secure, and the whole thing is water-resistant, so a surprise shower won’t ruin your day.
It’s the kind of piece that makes you rethink how much you were hauling around in the first place, proof that the smartest upgrade can be the smallest.

The Medium Pocket
If the Mini is the newcomer, the Medium Pocket is the icon. More than any other piece, this is the one that screams “Alpine Sea Co”. Our Essentials version is the most dialled it’s ever been.

The layout is simple and smart. A front zippered compartment swallows your daily essentials like a phone, sunglasses, and keys. While a slim reverse-zip pocket sits against your body, the perfect hideaway for a passport or slim wallet when you want a little extra peace of mind. Worn across the body, over a shoulder, or spun round the waist, it sits comfortably and stays out of the way, whether you’re wandering a new city or nipping to the market.

At 3L it holds a genuinely useful amount without ever feeling bulky, and the removable Auxikko strap attaches via Duraflex hardware, so swapping it out for another strap, or removing it entirely, is a breeze. The Medium Pocket ships with a black and tonal gray Auxikko strap and the zipper pull color of your choice, with extra straps available if you want to change your look by the day or the occasion.

The Small Popcorn
The Popcorns are Alpine Sea Co’s take on the humble organizer, and the name is perfect. Just like a bag of popcorn, they expand as you fill them and fold flat when they’re empty, puffing out to give you easy access to whatever’s inside.
The Small Popcorn is a 1L case for cables, first aid, snacks, chargers, and all the little bits that otherwise migrate to the bottom of your bag and disappear. There’s a YKK AquaGuard zippered pocket on the front for the things you want to grab quickly, and the interior is a wipe-clean lining, so if you spill something, wipe it out, carry on.

Drop it into a bigger pack for instant order, or let it stand alone as a tidy little grab-bag. An easy way to bring a bit of Alpine Sea Co calm to your daily chaos.

The Medium Popcorn
The Medium Popcorn takes everything we love about its little sibling and scales it up. At 4L, it’s the one for larger essentials and longer trips, the wash-bag-sized organizer that keeps a weekender’s worth of odds and ends corralled in one place.

Like the rest of the Everywhere Collection, it’s made in the USA, with the same YKK AquaGuard zippered front pocket and the same wipe-clean interior that makes real life so much more forgiving. It holds its shape when full and collapses down when not, so it’s never wasting space in your bag.

The Utility Kit
Rounding things out is the big brother of the group: the Utility Kit. Where the Popcorns are light and flexible, the 6L Utility Kit brings a little more structure and protection to the table. It’s padded around the base and side panels (though not so rigid that it becomes a brick), so it happily holds toiletries one week, camera bits or tech the next, and snow goggles when the seasons change.

A top YKK coated water-resistant zip keeps the elements at bay, double grab handles make it easy to grab and go, and you can hang it from a carabiner when space is tight. It’s the do-anything kit that quietly earns a permanent spot in your rotation.

Colors, Materials, and Customization
All three fabrics in the Everywhere Collection come from Challenge Sailcloth’s ECOPAK™ line — the same family of technical textiles that’s been stress-tested in sailing’s harshest conditions for decades.
Every yard of ECOPAK™ is made from 100% recycled polyester — roughly 20 plastic bottles per yard, spun into a ripstop weave and finished with a PFC-free DWR coating. It absorbs 80% less moisture than traditional nylon, holds its color better in UV, and is built to be light and strong.

Eco Grid Blackout
This colorway takes its name from the subtle grid ripstop woven into the recycled fabric, paired with a deep black finish. It’s a straightforward nod to the material’s technical construction and its understated aesthetic. This is the stealth option for the people who want their carry to simply disappear. Look closely and you’ll spot the grid; step back and it’s all business. Understated, elegant, and quietly tough.

Eco Grid Orange
The louder sibling. It’s the same recycled grid-pattern fabric, but rendered in a vibrant orange inspired by high-visibility outdoor gear. It’s bold enough to stand out while still feeling right at home on the trail or in the city. It’s the piece you reach for when you want your kit to have a little personality, and impossible to lose at the bottom of a bag. A proper, joyful counterpoint to the Blackout.

Eco Gravel-Lite
Rounding out the trio. It’s inspired by the muted gray tones of the river gravel you’ll find throughout the Columbia Gorge, and the “Lite” does double duty: it nods to the lightweight nature of the fabric, and to the softer, brighter take on a classic gravel color. In other words, a lightweight gray that balances natural tones with technical performance. It splits the difference between the two Eco Grids beautifully: neither stealthy nor shouty, just quietly right.
Whichever you choose, the fundamentals hold. Everything is finished with trusted YKK and Duraflex hardware, and every piece is made by hand in Hood River.

Morale Patches
There is a reason certain industries never lose their gear.
Soldiers and camera assistants figured it out long before the rest of us: when you’re moving fast, under pressure, you don’t search for things. You grab them. So we’ve taken that learning and applied it to this collection.

The morale patches (available on Popcorns and Utility) are a visual shorthand for what’s inside and why it matters.
Six patches, six scenarios, hook-and-loop attachment so they swap in seconds. Flying out on a shoot? Swap in Camera and Plane. Heading into the field? Tech becomes Outdoor. The bag adapts to the mission, not the other way around.
Made by hand in Hood River, Oregon. Available now. It’s an Essential — it will be restocked.
Carry on!
