What’s In My Camera Bag: Moment Rugged Camera Sling 6L

The bag I’m using at the moment is the Moment Rugged Camera Sling. This is also not a review yet because I’m just starting to use this bag. Before I start reviewing this bag, I just want to give you a little bit of background on how I usually carry my camera gear or how I used to carry my camera gear as a freelance film editor many years before. I also shot a lot of still photography, lots of fashion photography, and stuff like that. For that I always had these big DSLRs, I used the Nikon D7000 and the Fuji S5 Pro, which are all DSLR cameras and I had the 24 to 70 f 2.8 lenses. Those lenses and those cameras were really big and I used the Think Tank StreetWalker Pro HD camera backpack, also a really heavy camera bag. And what I realized back then was when the camera was really big and all of the equipment was really heavy I kind of got a little bit lazy and all of the gear stayed basically at home.

So once I moved from stills photography to videography and started filming I’ve gotten into getting mirrorless cameras. I reduced all my camera gear and up to now I just threw all my camera gear inside my regular backpack but with this sling bag I feel like this form factor is actually pretty cool to protect my camera gear and just throw this sling bag as a camera cube into my backpack. I’m not sure yet if that’s something I will actually do in the future but I want to try it out so starting from now I will review the sling and at the moment I can say I really like the build quality and the form factor. All of the stuff that I usually carry around me and that I usually just carelessly throw into my everyday carry backpack fits in here quite well. This is the six-liter version and let’s go into the bag and take a look at what I have inside.
