Best Carry Accessory – Carry Awards

by , December 20, 2012

The Carry Accessories category is the most broad we have, so we’re expecting a really interesting discussion around it. From tech sleeves to toiletry bags, travel wallets and packing aids, these are all the smaller carry bits that subtly contribute to your travel running smoothly.

There is no country or region that dominates this stuff, with a broad range of brands getting nominations for a broad range of solutions. We look forward to seeing how you vote!

Haglofs Laptop Drybag

This portrait format laptop sleeve works a treat in backpacks of all kinds, protecting your lappy against any weather you care to brave. It’s smart enough to use in front of clients, and resilient enough to outlast the laptop you protect.

Bellroy Travel Wallet

The travel wallet that finally let you ditch the man-purse when traveling. Clever details, a neat pen, and a travel solution that has been embraced by frequent flyers around the world, our Bellroy contributors were stoked to see this getting nominated.

Incase Pathway Collection

It’s a little bizarre to see a whole collection nominated, but the way this capsule of sleeves, totes and small bags works together has us willing to bend the rules. Fold-over closures, great materials, and mature color combos. Nice.

11+ Felt Case

If you’re going to haul laptop protection around, you may as well make a workstation out of it. We think that’s the reasoning behind this lovely solution to your mobile workspace, which feels great in use and practical for the everyday.

Roberu Leather Card Case

If you’re still sporting business cards, you really want to make a nice ritual around them, and this is the most interesting solution we’ve seen. The pull-tab ducks and dives in a way that helps the function while adding to the interest – a rare achievement.

Eagle Creek Pack-It Cube

While loads of solutions exist in this space, the Eagle Creek option just seems to get it the most right. Light, convenient, structured enough and soft enough. We rate it.

This is the Dopp for those that have never been excited about a Dopp. Flexibility, practicality, and a big dose of refined beauty, we’re properly impressed by this kit.
