Struktur Event design conference 2015 & Giveaway Competition

Struktur Event is a creative conference for the active outdoor design industry – and we love it. It’s not a trade show and it’s not a fashion show. Instead it’s a space to discover and discuss various factors that influence design, from user experience to the science behind particular materials. Here people can share and discover fresh and innovative ideas within the outdoor design industry, all with the idea of pushing it forward in new and creative ways.

Struktur Event 2015

This year the conference will take place from 6 May to 8 May in Portland, Oregon. The focus will be on the themes of Design Leadership and Design Communication, covering areas such as developing and sustaining creative teams, as well as navigating the selling environment successfully. A range of speakers with diverse backgrounds will be presenting this year including Jedd Rose, Founder and Creative Director for Topo Designs, Bryan Rees who is the Director of Design for the Backcountry ecommerce site, Jenn Zollars who is the Senior Product Line Manager for sportswear at Mountain Hardwear, as well as entrepreneur and trade show manager Andrea Westerlind to name a few.

Carryology was a sponsor at last year’s Struktur Event, and this year we’re back – but going bigger! A special Carryology panel discussion will take place at Struktur Event 2015 featuring Hadrien Monloup (Bellroy and Carryology co-founder), Douglas Davidson (the Brown Buffalo), Taylor Welden and John Canfield.
