Duffles and weekenders are tricky…
You want a really nice one to feel all styling, but then chances are it will spend much of its life shoved down the bottom of a cupboard.
We’ve traveled the world with our Nike NSW fold-up duffle, and love the versatility this bag provides. As a trip moves through stages, you can roll it out or fold it away to optimize your travel set-up.
Property Of… realise how neat that sort of versatility is, and have released a similar sort of bag (but with an aesthetic closer to a weekender than a duffel). The Maxi Travel bag features a nylon bag with a leather base. The bag can be packed flat in its base to optimize storage, so it’s a handy bag to pack in your suitcase for use on your travels. You can use it during the day or as an overnight bag.
The bag comes in orange, black and army and features YKK Vislon zips, external pockets and its own carry sleeve.
The bag measures 43 cm wide, 27 cm tall and 21 cm deep, providing loads of space for your essential travel items. The brand’s design team is based in Singapore but you can find pieces from their collection in stores across North America, Japan and Europe. In addition, they have a North American webstore and an EU & International webstore so if you like what you see, you can get your own Maxi Travel bag without having to step out your front door. Doesn’t get much easier than that.
It’s important to throw out there that we have no idea what this bag is like in the flesh, but we love the feel of it in the pics.
Ando will write reviews that run for pages, he’ll never think a carry piece is fully resolved, and he’ll always call it out if it should be. Oh, and he’s a co-founder of Carryology.
