Boost the elegance of your EDC essentials

Grovemade Key Ring and iPhone cases

There are a lot of key rings and bottle openers in the EDC sphere, but the trick is finding ones that look good without skimping on the functionality. The new Grovemade Key Ring nails the challenge, combining both tools into an elegantly simple and practical item. Available in stainless steel with a raw or black oxide finish as well as brass, this tough tool is designed to take daily use in its stride, developing an attractive patina with use. The Key Ring comes with a stainless steel braided cable for holding your keys but will securely hold other small items too. But Grovemade haven’t stopped there. Turning their attention to another EDC item, they have created a range of eye-catching iPhone cases that inject pizzazz into your daily carry. The cases are available in a choice of Eastern Hardrock Maple or Oregon Walnut frames or alternatively a hardwood frame combined with a leather cover. The wood and leather combo is available for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, while the frame-only cases cover the iPhone 6/6 Plus as well as the iPhone 5/5s.

Practicality styled for the senses

ULTRAOLIVE Hollow-Dry™ Dual Pack

From the work commute to lunch dates and relaxing in the park, crowded city streets to chilled cafes, daypacks see it all. Since you’re racking up some serious quality time with your pack, it should have a good splash of character to go with its practical features. Meet the Hollow-Dry™ Dual Pack from ULTRAOLIVE. This pack keeps things visually and texturally interesting with a Hollow-Dry™ fabric that also offers water resistance to protect the contents from the elements. The base, constructed out of 1000D nylon, is also water-resistant, while the contrasting leather zip pulls add further appeal. The two exterior zipped pockets are perfect spots for stashing a variety of items you need quick access to. In addition, your larger tech items can be stored in the interior back pocket which accommodates up to a 15-inch laptop. The pack also comes in four colorways to suit your own style.

A camera bag that can roll with the action

SANDMARC Armor Bag

If you’ve got a GoPro camera, the chances are pretty high you’ll be getting up to some fast-paced, adrenaline-fueled adventures where you need to be light on your feet – and a massive camera bag is only going to get in the way. The Armor Bag from SANDMARC is all about compact flexibility, letting you carry your GoPro essentials conveniently without hauling a beast of a bag along for the ride. Designed for use with monopods, the Armor Bag features a roll-up construction with internal pockets and elasticated loops for holding a variety of GoPro or other action cameras as well as related accessories. The bag can be carried using a top handle or a shoulder strap and is made of industrial grade canvas to withstand the scrapes and scuffs that are part of getting out there and exploring.

Zooming in on streamlined access for urban photography

Lowepro Slingshot Edge 150 AW and Slingshot Edge 250 AW

If your camera carry needs are a little larger but you still want easy access and a compact form, Lowepro’s Slingshot Edge series swings onto the scene ready to deliver. The Slingshot Edge 150 AW is a sling bag designed to carry a mirrorless camera with an attached lens, as well as additional items such as an extra lens, flash, a small tablet and personal items. The Slingshot Edge 250 AW suits a compact DSLR with attached lens, a larger tablet, an extra lens, a flash and personal gear. Designed for urban environments and crowded spaces, both sling packs offer side access to your camera so you can get to it quickly when that great shot presents itself. Other handy features include a stabilizer strap to secure the pack against your body when you’re on the go, a rain cover and removable straps for externally attaching items such as small tripods.
