Week In Carry ~ 21 April
There’s been some very interesting stuff popping up on Twitter and Facebook this week that we wanted to share with you. The selection is a bit of a mixed bag (yup, total punning genius there), with hopefully something for everyone.
Furniture For Bags
Yes you read that right. workiture has created furniture on which you place your bags, so no more cluttering up your desk space or walkways. Sheer awesomeness or sheer madness, who knows, but you have to admit that there’s something appealing in not having to put your kickass bag on the floor. I mean really, is that any way to treat a faithful companion (not to mention a potentially expensive one that has you on beans and toast for the next three months)?
Happy faces time indeed and much rejoicing throughout the land (or in the office at least) when this Boreas backpack arrived. Road test you say? We thought you’d never ask…
Keybrid Carabiner Key Blank
This baby can link with keychains, keyrings, belt loops and shoelaces (and you’ve probably thought of loads more places just by reading this). It was created by Scott Amron and is available to order. The key blank can be cut at your local key cutting shop to fit your lock. There’s something quite MacGyverish about this item and you have to admit it just looks cool.
Dror Benshetrit & Tumi Collaboration
As Tumi seeks to break free of the 1600D Ballistic Nylon shackles it’s been residing in, designers like Dror Benshetrit are giving them a helping hand. You can read a great write up about the background of the collaboration process, not to mention scope all the photos and a bunch of sketches…
Back In Black
Some fantastic images of the Goruck GR1 here: bit.ly/HVNuuv No denying, everything always looks 10 times more epic looming out of the darkness…of course it helps that the Goruck is already epic…
