Bergans x Spinnova The Collection of Tomorrow

Rethinking product ownership and sustainable design are at the forefront of the Collection of Tomorrow, a project partnership between Bergans and Spinnova. The project aims to support the development of Spinnova fiber, a new material that the partnership hopes will lead to complete product circularity. Once items made from the fiber have reached the end of their life cycle, the goal is that the item can be recycled, allowing the material to be reused to create new items. Product owners maintain ownership of the material and can receive a new item crafted from Spinnova fiber. It’s still in the early stages of development, but the material has the potential to be a textile industry game changer.
