Klättermusen want to help people enjoy the outdoors as sustainably as possible. And to do that they’ve created the Ull Blot Special Edition Backpack. A limited edition of their 30L mountaineering pack, this lightweight bag is crafted from undyed, recycled Polyamide with Kevlar® reinforcements. Designed for use in the backcountry, the pack offers an enticing blend of technical functionality and lightweight durability. And with its removable back plate you can shed even more carry weight if desired. The pack is hydration bladder compatible, with exterior attachment points for gear, an interior avalanche tool pocket, and a choice of top-loading and side zipper access for added convenience.
TAD’s Axiom 24 Pack gets a redesign for even better functionality with an updated GEN II version. The new design features 13 updates including a redesigned admin compartment and pockets for more flexible organization. You’ll find multiple attachment points to suit changing gear setups, as well as dual zippered back panel compartments for tech and flat items like documents or magazines. Additionally, different zipper pulls and plugs allow you to identify different compartments easily. And they’re removable if you want to customize the pack. Add in the comfy, durable, and highly weather-resistant build and you’ve got an even better companion for tackling multiple carry needs and settings.
Rethinking product ownership and sustainable design are at the forefront of the Collection of Tomorrow, a project partnership between Bergans and Spinnova. The project aims to support the development of Spinnova fiber, a new material that the partnership hopes will lead to complete product circularity. Once items made from the fiber have reached the end of their life cycle, the goal is that the item can be recycled, allowing the material to be reused to create new items. Product owners maintain ownership of the material and can receive a new item crafted from Spinnova fiber. It’s still in the early stages of development, but the material has the potential to be a textile industry game changer.
