Road Tests :: Nike ACG Nylon Messenger

The Nike ACG Messenger has been on road test for the last couple of months by one of our carryologists. They actually purchased it long before we thought of running this Road Tests category so it works out quite well that he can give an indepth review…

Taking a different approach to reviewing this time round, we tried to summarize our thoughts in a chart. We’re hoping it gives a faster and more interesting way to digest it all. You’ll see that each area has a rating, and those ratings are split according to how well the bag works for commuting vs travel.

If you have any feedback on how it works for you, we’d love to hear…

But back to the bag. The Messenger, like most things Nike, is a great product. It’s a good compact messenger with solid construction and comfortable shoulder pad (if used for short trips). The sections are interesting but can be a little akward to use. Downsides are that it’s not really all that laptop friendly, and all the pockets are on the same space plan, resulting in lack of usable space.

Overall it’s a good bag for those who like compact designs and efficient packing.
