Mission Workshop AP VX Fitzroy
Carryology score
avg. reader score
If you loved The Sanction like so many of us do, but wanted something bigger without the rolltop function, The Fitzroy is your go to pack. Depending on how much you intend to carry it may be a little big for some – it’s got over the double the literage that the Sanction has but the same waterproof fabrics and military spec. It also features multiple weatherproof compartments, urethane coated zippers and an internal frame sheet. Large zippered pocket fits most 17” laptops, with smaller zippered pockets for your gear. It’s made in the USA with a lifetime warranty. It's totally rad.
the good
- Large capacity
- Great fabrics and hardware
- Solid build quality
the not so good
- The basic Fitzroy is probably better value
- Pocketing is not all that useful
- A touch basic for a pack of this volume
