Fancy finding out what Tumi, Saddleback Leather and Defy Bags have been up to recently? Well they’re just some of the brands featuring new releases in our Week In Review…

Keeping it classy in the office

Dunhill Autumn-Winter 2014 Bourdon Bi-colour CollectionIf your business carry is leaning more towards bedraggled than boardroom-ready. perhaps it’s time to ditch the dull for dapper, give that old bag the boot and boost your carry credentials with a briefcase from luxury British menswear brand Dunhill. New for Autumn/Winter 2014 is their Bourdon Bi-colour collection constructed out of printed Italian cowhide in a choice of four colourways. Stylishly streamlined, the briefcase features external and interior pockets and comes with a detachable shoulder strap for hands-free carry.

Defy rolls out their latest creation

Defy Bags VerBockel Rolltop Backpack

Do you dig Defy Bags? Wish they did a rolltop? Well that wish has been answered and is very soon to become a reality thanks to their new VerBockel Rolltop Backpack which is available to pre-order. The pack is constructed out of 18.5 oz. water-repellent cotton duck canvas, with an AustriAlpin Cobra buckle closure. The backpack has exterior side pockets, two interior pockets and a padded laptop section. And if you want to unroll the top and carry it as a tote you can do that too courtesy of the grab handles.

Scoop up some new style from Saddleback

Saddleback Classic Bucket Backpack

If you love leather and want tough durability in your carry, Saddleback Leather’s new Classic Bucket Backpack is full of both and will likely be going strong well after you’ve kicked the bucket yourself. Available in four colorways, this is Saddleback’s lightest backpack and it features a drawstring closure with two interior slip pockets for organization. There’s also a removable top grab handle for carrying tote-style or over the shoulder.

Luxury carry for less

Oppermann London Palissy 25-Hour Bag, Swanfield Wallet and Bolton Briefcase

Blending chic and understated design aesthetics with hardwearing quality, Oppermann London is known for carry pieces that are minimalistic and modern in style and built to last. The brand has made the move to become an online-only brand, cutting out the middlemen so they can offer customers luxury quality without the incredibly exorbitant pricing that usually goes hand in hand with luxury pieces. Anyone who is keen to snag one of their pieces at a discount can now do so courtesy of Oppermann London’s Kickstarter campaign which is offering a range of bags, tech carry and wallets.

Maximising luggage functionality

Tumi Tegra-Lite® Max Medium Trip Expandable Packing Case

If you like the easy functionality of a spinner and appreciate the flexibility of more space on demand for that souvenir you just couldn’t resist, the Tumi Tegra-Lite® Max line of luggage cases are ready to be taken for a spin on holidays and work trips alike. Available in a range of sizes, the cases are expandable and come with a front U-zip pocket for quick access to items while on the go.

*Editor’s Note: Oppermann London has now rebranded to Carl Friedrik.
