Fabric innovation meets fashion-friendly functionality

If you dig carry with tough construction, bold designs and innovative fabric, the new collaboration between Trakke and textile designers Timorous Beasties is one to explore. The collaboration features five bags available in up to four prints, namely Iguana, Opera Botanica, Marble Gum and Thistle. The bags are constructed out of limited edition digitally printed waxed cotton, so users can enjoy function with a generous dose of flair.

A new duffel promising plenty of bang for your buck

No bag can be everything to everyone but some can be pretty versatile and the Bomber Barrel aims to make an impact in the field of multi-use carry. Designed as a bag that can be used for the gym, work environments, outdoor explorations, travel and more, the duffel mixes durability with minimalist style. Featuring one interior and one exterior pocket along with the main compartment, the Bomber Barrel holds the essentials without being unnecessarily large and heavy. It’s exploded on Kickstarter but there’s still plenty of time to get in on the action.

Burton beckons the Fall/Winter season

What’s a great way to welcome in a new season? A new addition to your carry collection of course! Burton have dropped several new options to consider courtesy of their F/W Bag and Apparel range, including pieces such as the Wheelie Double Deck which offers 92L of easy rolling wherever life’s travels may take you. Plus if you’re looking for some inspiration in a particular bag category, Burton have also recently created a collection of clips which highlight various bags from across their Heritage, Transit, Photography, Travel and Snow categories. The carry in the clips includes the Tinder Backpack, Wheelie Board Case, Lumen Pack, Wheelie Double Deck, AK 31L Pack and F-Stop Photo Pack and you can see them in action here.

 Discreet, tough and ready for action

The D3 Traveller Duffel is a bag designed to be discreet and durable in order to avoid drawing unwanted attention to your belongings, while also being rugged enough to handle a variety of demanding situations. The duffel is constructed out of two layers of strong, lightweight and waterproof Cuben Fiber and includes water-resistant zips and aluminium hardware. The two layers enhance the protection offered to the bag’s contents and also prevent the bag looking jam-packed even when full. The bag can be carried as a backpack too and rolls up into a compact form for easy storage.

Lexdray adds to the lineup

If you love a bit of Lexdray in your life then you’re in for a treat – the Fall 2014 collection has arrived and features three new styles along with a new olive colorway. The new designs include the 28L Mont Blanc Pack, the Beijing Duffel which is suitable for carry-on use or short overnight or weekend trips, as well as the daypack-sized San Diego Pack. The collection also includes an updated Ibiza Pack and a travel tray which provides easily-accessible storage for small items.
