A bike bag that means business
There aren’t a lot of bags that can roll from the bike to the boardroom, but the new Brooks Barbican Hard Leather Shoulder Bag is one of them. Crafted in England with the same durable leather that Brooks use for their saddles, the bag has a stylish silhouette that doesn’t look out of place in a work setting. However, sling the bag over your shoulder and pull the two ends of the adjustable shoulder strap together to form a ‘Sam Browne’ belt for secure carry while cycling. The bag also includes a detachable interior pocket, making it easy to access and transfer small items to and from your bag.
Stay slim while snapping on the move
Camera gear is often bulky, but a camera bag doesn’t have to be. Case in point: the updated booq Slimpack. The backpack is great for photography on the go, with enough space for two DSLRs, up to four mid-sized lenses or one large zoom lens, a 12″ MacBook or 10″ tablet, plus a tripod, while retaining a stylish and compact form. The internal padded dividers can be adjusted to suit different carry setups, with a choice of rear and top access to suit different environments. The pack also features external pockets for organizing and quickly accessing smaller items. The Slimpack is constructed using a weatherproof exterior fabric but also comes with a rain cover. See the features in detail here.
Shelter your gear in style
The benefit of waterproof bags is evident – peace of mind that your gear won’t get drenched no matter how hard it’s bucketing down is a definite plus. But sometimes the aesthetics can be a little restricting, with materials that look a little out of sync in certain environments. This SWIMS Welded Duffel is different though. SWIMS offer a waterproof construction with welded seams, but utilize a PVC free Nylon/TPU fabric with a mélange aesthetic that lends itself to a range of leisure settings. The duffel includes a protective silicone grip base and is ready to take on day-to-day and travel carry tasks alike.
Under-the-radar luxury for work and travel
The most versatile color in carry takes center stage in Travelteq’s new Black Collection. Covering work and travel needs, the collection includes the Briefcase Original, Briefcase Women, Briefcase All Leather, Messenger Inside Out and Weekender Inside Out. The sleek and functional designs are crafted by hand in Tuscany using premium materials. Vegetable-tanned Florentine Vachetta leather teams up with rubber-coated nylon to create durable and attractively chic bags that look equally good in the airport or the office. An assortment of useful pockets keep work and travel items organized and easily accessible on the go.
Packing chic street style into your travel carry
Nothing gets you in the holiday mood quite like whipping out new luggage – and with The Shrine Holiday 2015 Collections you’ve got versatile choices. New on the scene is the Diamond Press Collection featuring a 420D ripstop laminated to mesh. With its distinct texture and black and grey colorway options, this is a fabric that will draw the eye and your fingers. Also getting set for carry adventures is the Duality Collection featuring a 900D Polyester blue and white fabric that appears grey from a distance. Both collections include the Sneaker Daypack, the Sneaker Duffel, the Sneaker Overnight Duffel and the Weekender Sneaker Backpack.
The attraction of magnetic charging
Being able to charge your phone in one easy movement with magnetic wireless charging is great – but not all phones are equipped to do so. That’s where the Gecko wireless charging kit comes in. This nifty three-part kit provides USB ports and power banks with magnetic wireless charging capabilities. The kit includes the Gecko Adapter for use with your existing sync/charging cable, the Gecko Connector for use with a Lightning or Micro-USB port, and the Gecko Dongle for transforming a USB port or power bank into a wireless-style charging station. The connectors and dongles auto-align for fuss-free charging. Now how about saving some moolah on top of hassle-free charging? The Gecko kit is currently available for $14 via the Gecko Indiegogo campaign, but the folks behind this clever kit have hooked up Carryology readers with a sweet deal. Scoop up your own kit for just $9 using this link. Alternatively pick up two kits for only $16 (normally $19) via this link.
