Mobile by Peak Design

Best New Gear: Peak Design Everyday Case

After spending four years in development and a successful Kickstarter campaign, Peak Design is finally ready to launch its mobile ecosystem. With the recent announcement of the iPhone 13, the timing couldn’t be better. The line focuses around the Everyday Case, an ultra-protective and ultra-slim MagSafe compatible phone case, which then allows you to attach accessories to your phone, or attach your phone to mounts.

Using their proprietary SlimLink technology, Peak enhances and reinforces on Apple’s MagSafe, by using a ceramic zirconia insert surrounded by magnets. This provides a much stronger grip. For extra assurance, situations that require extra holding power (bike and motorcycle mounts, for example) have extra mechanical locks. Everyday Cases are available for all models of iPhone 11 through 13 and Samsung S21.

The team focused on subtle details that might go unnoticed at first. For example, the leather-covered power and volume buttons and chamfered edges.

The case is also available in wallet form by adding a leather pocket card on the back. This allows you to carry up to 3 cards and is perfect for the grab-and-go type. The new cases are compatible with all size models of the Apple iPhone 13.
