A Compact Backpack for Campus Minimalists
Incase are known for great tech carry with clean silhouettes. But they also value the importance of pushing good design even further. And that’s just what they’ve set out to do with the newest iteration of the Incase Campus Compact Backpack.

Old-school meets campus chic
While it retains the slim profile of the original, this latest version brings a more sophisticated style to the classic campus daypack. Pared back and understated, this pack has no problem fitting into campus settings but dresses up well too. Lunch at your local cafe. Smart-casual work settings. Zipping through airports during your travels. If you’re into minimalist aesthetics at an affordable price tag, the chances are this pack will pique your interest.

Travel-ready
If you’re the traveling type, Incase have listened to customer feedback and integrated a luggage passthrough on the pack, making it easier to navigate journeys with all-in-one luggage carry. And with its durable 900D polyester build and water-repellent coating, this pack is ready to take travel scuffs and showers in its stride.

Pockets prioritized for everyday needs
A new mesh water bottle pocket helps keep hydration close at hand when you’re on the move. And those little valuables you need easy access to but still want to store securely? They get a home in the new quick-access top pocket, a convenient spot for stashing items like a phone or keys.

But what if you want quick access to slightly larger items? Incase have you covered there too. In addition to the top pocket, the pack also offers two further zippered pockets on the front exterior.

It wouldn’t be Incase without dedicated tech storage. And the Campus Compact Backpack delivers. Inside the main compartment you’ll find a laptop compartment with a protective brushed lining that accommodates up to a 16-inch MacBook Pro. And with an iPad pocket too, you’ve got options for storing various devices.

But they’re not quite done with organization just yet. Though the Incase Campus Compact Backpack focuses on minimalist design, that doesn’t mean it’s not functional. The interior also offers a choice of accessory pockets to store smaller items such as pens, chargers, or other daily items. Just enough to keep your essentials organized without cluttering up the pack’s clean feel.

The main compartment features a wide opening and double zip closure, offering convenient access to your gear throughout the day.

How about the comfort?
Are you going to climb mountains with this pack? No. And that’s not the point of it. The Incase Campus Compact Backpack is designed for carrying smaller everyday loads. And they’ve considered the comfort accordingly, giving you the comfort you need in an everyday pack without unnecessary additions adding to the weight and bulking up the design. A 3D padded mesh back panel with a ventilation channel helps keep you comfortable and cool while you’re going about your day. Suitably wide shoulder straps help distribute the load too. And while there’s no sternum strap or waist belt, with a pack this size and for its intended use, you shouldn’t need these.

For minimalists who want something a little bit “more”
Some packs fall a little too far towards minimalist extremes to make them suitable for daily carry. But there’s clearly been an effort to find a thoughtful balance with the Incase Campus Compact Backpack. Stripped back of cluttered features or design elements, yet more than functional enough for everyday use, this pack finds that sweet spot for minimalists who want just a little more from their bag, but not too much. It’s a tricky balance to achieve, but Incase looks like they’ve nailed it with this one.
