New Carry Buyer’s Guide :: Beta Version

Today, we’re stoked to launch our new Carry Buyer’s Guide – well, soft launch it anyway, this is our beta version. 

We’ve been toiling away behind the scenes for months now: building this bad boy to make finding the right carry for you easier and more awesome – and here it is!

You can find it snuggled next to ‘community’ in our header menu.

In a nutshell, it’s a product finder pimped to the nines with features and the best carry in the world.

We scoured the globe for only the best-of-the-best carry available: from cult classics, to internationals, to boutique handmade craft, to kit that’s simply great bang for your buck – all curated, all nailing our criteria for great carry.

Right now, we’ve just opened up the ‘Backpacks‘ category (thus, the beta) because we’d love to get your feedback before we roll out everything!

And hey, THERE WILL BE HICCUPS, there’s only so many months you can stare at a project before things start to look the same, you feel us?

How does it work?

Well, there’s three ways to find the right carry for you…

1) Product Finder

Need help zeroing in on what you want? The product finder will get you there in a few easy steps.

Step one: Click ‘GET STARTED’.

Step two: Answer a handful of questions; the product list will refine as you go. 

Step three: We’ll dish up a list of the best carry for you.

Step four: Click on the carry you dig to get all the juicy info.

2) Search by Brand or Model

Got a brand crush and keen to search through their range? Or know the model you’re after? Key the brand name or model into the middle search bar and wallah! All of the products, that we recommend, will appear.

3) Search by Category

If you’re not so fussy about the particulars, but certain on the type of carry you’re after, then searching by category is for you.

Step one: Select your chosen category: ‘Backpacks’ for example.

Step two: Drill down to your specific sub-category e.g. Laptop Backpacks or Cycling Backpacks.

Step three: Scroll through the luscious options available and click on what tickles your fancy.

Step four: Click on the carry you dig to get all the juicy info.

Cool Features

There’s a whole bunch: from ‘Top 5 lists’ to ‘Others to Consider’ and our killer new ‘Scoring Breakdown’. But the one we’re most excited about – is the ‘Reader’s Score’.  You can now write your own reader reviews, each piece of carry having its own Avg. Reader’s Score 🙂
