So what’s different about these awards? Well our Carry Awards are decided through combining readers’ votes with votes from our specialist panel and cranking it all through an algorithm to find out who gets the gold. With the Reader’s Choice Awards however it’s all about people power, pure and simple votes from the fans only to decide who claims victory. Sometimes there are crossovers with Carry Award Winner and Highly Commended results; sometimes not.
