EVERGOODS CIVIC Half Zip | Meet Your Everyday Carry, Elevated
EVERGOODS is always looking for ways to make their gear better. And recently they’ve turned their attention to the CIVIC Half Zip, giving this versatile daypack a fresh revamp for improved ease of use. Let’s delve in and check out some of the key updates.

Tech at the Ready
One of the main changes to the pack is replacing the yoke pocket with an external laptop sleeve. While laptop storage was previously in the main compartment, now your tech is readily accessible in an exterior compartment. The compartment keeps tech suspended for added protection and fits a 16″ MacBook Pro.

For active use, the external laptop storage also doubles as a hydration bladder compartment. Dual, low-profile hydration ports accommodate left and right-handed use but remain discreet if not required.

Quick Access to Essentials
EVERGOODS have added an externally accessible front lid pocket to the CIVIC Half Zip, providing a useful spot for securely storing small, frequently required items such as a hat, headlamp, phone, wallet, or keys. Previously, this pocket was accessible from the interior of the pack but is now accessed through an external zipper to get to essentials in a jiffy.

Structured Style
The CIVIC Half Zip welcomes some added structure to the front panel, helping the bag retain its form. Rhino horn has been significantly reduced, creating a sleeker and refined silhouette across various loads.

The pack retains its half zip opening, providing a good balance between easy access and containment. The internal stretch pocket offers additional tech storage if needed but also houses flat items like magazines or documents.

Above the stretch pocket is a new zippered width-length pocket that’s useful for small EDC and tech or travel accessories. Additionally, the CHZ has kept the zippered pocket on the opposite panel so you have further storage options for small items such as a passport.

Two Sizes, Multiple Uses
The pack comes in 22L and 26L options, weighing 2lbs 8oz (1134g) and 2lbs 11oz (1219g) respectively. Apart from the volume difference, both packs share identical features and layouts, making them handy all-rounders for daily commutes and gym trips, active excursions, or even short trips.

Built with woven 840D Nylon 6, the packs are tough, abrasion-resistant, and water-resistant, so you can trust they’ll hold up to everyday use with ease. You can pick up a CHZ22 for US$210, while the CHZ26 retails for US$230.
