Dapper daily carry

If your EDC is looking a bit tired of late, perhaps a tad scruffy with its glory days behind it, Campbell Cole’s new Simple Collection is ready to add a generous dash of understated British style to your daily carry. The collection encompasses the Simple Card Holder, Simple Key Wrap and Simple Card Wrap. Each piece is made from Italian vegetable-tanned leather and comes in a choice of oak or black colorways.

A bag made for bike share baskets

Regular users of bikes from bike share systems may dig the system but not the front bike baskets so much for holding their carry gear. Po Campo has launched a Kickstarter campaign for the Bike Share Bag which is suitable for use with a range of bike share systems thanks to adjustable bungee cords for attaching the bag to the basket. The bag accommodates up to a 15-inch laptop and is constructed out of weather-resistant waxed canvas with a polyurethane-coated polyester lining. Expandable and with an assortment of pockets, the bag can be utilised for various purposes, from food shopping to work and leisure use.

Rugged style to accompany you through all of life’s adventures

Tyler Condie grew up riding horses and when he was older and looking for a good bag for daily use, his goal was to find one that could equal his father’s saddle in quality. The problem was, bags that could match the quality of his father’s saddle (which had been going strong since 1902) cost over $600. This ultimately led to Tyler deciding to make his own bag, and so Rugged Material was born. Rugged Material aims to offer bags that will last a lifetime without price tags that make them unaffordable for most people. In order to keep costs low, Rugged Material wants to expand their inventory so they can have bags in stock to sell directly to customers, rather than making them to order. The brand has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funding for their goal, which you can check out here.

Daypack delights from Trakke

Trakke have been churning out the changes of late with the likes of new fabrics, new branding and a new website. Plus their bag collection has altered too thanks to a new addition known as the Arkaig daypack. The pack is made out of waxed cotton with a Cordura lining and offers side pockets, an internal pocket and a lid pocket as well as a laptop section that accommodates a 15-inch MacBook Pro. With 20 liters of space, you can alternate between grocery shopping, work commutes or leaving it all behind and heading to the hills for a day of exploring.

Modern Industry adds a new link to their carry chain

Modern Industry are also welcoming a new pack arrival soon in the form of their Link backpack. Constructed out of 10.10 oz Martexin Original waxed canvas with a 7 oz cotton sailcloth lining, the backpack incorporates exterior waterproof YKK zippers and a designated computer section that fits a 15-inch laptop, as well as exterior and interior pockets for smaller items. The pack has a 21-liter volume and is available to pre-order now, with shipping on or before 11 June.
