Mission Workshop X LandSpeeder Sanction LS

Mission Workshop’s Sanction hit the carry scene 15 years ago. For the Sanction LS, LandSpeeder went back to the original paper patterns and factory samples and rebuilt the pack from them. It’s the first release in a collaborative series on Mission Workshop’s best-known designs.
LandSpeeder says the old patterns and samples are there to keep the original intentions intact while leaving room for their modern updates.
The 18L pack keeps its simple top flap, but it’s now closed with Fidlock magnetic buckles, with a front zip pocket for small things. The rear laptop compartment is padded and has a false bottom. There’s a luggage pass-through for travel and a revamped harness. The big addition is the LandSpeeder Attachment System on the side, which takes a folio, a side pouch or a bottle holder. Pouches come off by pulling a hidden tab to release the Velcro, and they double as internal organisers once removed. The shell is Dimension-Polyant VX21, made in the USA.
SPC/LST SEARCHER_01W Shirt

SPC/LST, pronounced “specialist”, was founded by Tyson White and Danny Geary. It’s just one brand in White’s Salvation Brands stable, alongside brands like The Brown Buffalo, Ruby Mint and Bootcap.
The SEARCHER_01W is its take on the classic workshirt. The original was built for long days of hard use, and SPC/LST says the Searcher carries that purpose forward. The fabric is a proprietary Cordura cotton stretch broken twill. Two chest pockets in different sizes keep quick-access essentials within reach. SPC/LST calls this Person Built® pocket placement. The tailored fit leaves room to move and the shirt comes in at $145.
memobottle memo Round

memobottle built its name on flat bottles that slide into rectangular, compact carry spaces. So now a round one is a surprise. The memo Round is the brand’s first, so why make it?
memobottle says the aim was a better round bottle than any other on the market. The target was the lid. Lids that don’t come apart leave channels, seals and straws where mould can build up.
The memo Round’s lid comes apart in three seconds and has just three parts. The straw lifts out, the interior plug pops free and the mouthpiece comes away. Every piece that touches your mouth or the contents is easy to clean.
The Sip360 mouthpiece spins 360° so you can drink from any side, and it clicks shut with a reassuring sound. The body is double-walled 304 stainless steel that resists condensation and keeps water cold for up to 24 hours. It’s built for cold drinks only, and memobottle says to keep hot liquids out of it. It comes in 700ml and 1L, in eight colours, with a removable carry strap.
Vollebak Sashiko Chore Jacket

Vollebak has released its Sashiko Chore Jacket in khaki. The colour comes from sulphur dye on heavy Japanese cotton. The dye locks deep into the fibre, so the colour shifts in tone. It gets lighter and softer with wear and washing. Vollebak says how far it shifts depends on friction, sunlight and your washing routine.
Sashiko is a Japanese stitching tradition from the Edo period, used to repair worn clothes. The jacket carries 1 million meta-aramid stitches, around 5.5km of thread, denser at the hem and sparser at the elbows. Meta-aramid is a fire-retardant fibre usually found in clothing for fire crews and racing drivers, and Vollebak believes it’s the first to reinforce a single garment this way. As the cotton fades, the stitching gains contrast and the pattern slowly emerges.
belavey x FALCK Verso Sling

The humble sling is simple on paper: a bag that’s easy to carry, built for a smaller setup, with your gear within reach. In practice, slings can get too complicated for their own good. The hardest part of design is knowing what to leave out.
The belavey x FALCK Verso Sling leaves a lot out. It has a single main compartment for small essentials, compact enough to carry easily on the go. When you need more room, a modular strap pouch expands the setup.
belavey, the designer, is based in Hamburg. The bag is made by FALCK, a third-generation workshop just outside Milan that usually works in leather, making limited-edition business bags, briefcases and backpacks. For the Verso, it works in performance nylon from Limonta, an Italian textile maker founded in Costa Masnaga, near Lecco, in 1893. The makers describe the nylon as durable with a pleasing hand-feel. Metal hardware and a cotton-blend strap complete the build, and the strap lets you wear the sling across the front or the back.
The Verso is handcrafted in Italy, comes in four colourways and can be pre-ordered on Kickstarter.
Outlier Acrispcotton Lighthooded and Trackwool Lighthooded

Outlier’s Lighthooded is a versatile, lightweight take on a windbreaker, with a half-length zipper that opens wide for ventilation, elastic cuffs, and a cinchable shockcord hem. A kangaroo pocket and zippered front pocket offer storage options too. It’s available in two different fabrics catering to different needs. The Acrispcotton Lighthooded is crafted with 100% cotton spun and woven by Albini. It uses their rare Giza 87 extra-long staple cotton that’s densely woven but weighs just 90gsm, so you get a wind-resistant but lightweight windbreaker with an enticing soft cotton feel. The Trackwool Lighthooded comes in slightly heavier at 110gsm but still provides a lightweight feel, with a 20% nylon/80% wool blend for light warmth with breathability.
Leatherman Garage Batch #010: Picnic

Tim Leatherman designed and built the first multi-tool in a garage, and the Leatherman Garage is an experimental line that pays homage to those beginnings. Each Garage release is a numbered batch, a limited run that Leatherman has described as fewer than 1,000 units.
The tenth batch, is the Garage Batch #10 Picnic. It’s built for outdoor meals. It carries six tools. A dual-lever corkscrew pulls stubborn corks in one smooth motion. A sheepsfoot culinary blade is shaped for slicing meats and cheeses with one hand. A bottle opener and a pry tool round out the kit, and a bit driver with Phillips and flathead bits handles small fixes, like a wobbly table leg.
DSPTCH Standard Pack

DSPTCH’s Standard Pack is a minimalist everyday pack that takes its design cues from classic daybags. It’s made entirely in the USA by the San Francisco design and manufacturing company, which backs its gear with a lifetime guarantee.
The 18L pack puts quick access on the outside. Pleated bottle pockets hold up to a 32 oz bottle and flatten when you aren’t carrying one. A front zip pocket comes with two organiser sleeves and a carabiner clip, and a security zip pocket sits on the back wall. D-ring mounting points take extra gear, and a luggage strap helps on travel days. Inside, a large zippered opening gives access to a tilting padded laptop sleeve, a tablet sleeve, a zippered mesh pocket and pleated top-loading organisers.
The shell comes in four fabrics: 5.0 oz Dyneema Composite Fabric, X-PAC X50 Tactical, ECOPAK EPLX 1680D ballistic and ECOPAK EPX400. All four are priced at $418.

Drop 4 on the platform highlights Salish culture and winter traditions, featuring pieces such as the Dekoi Jacket. Deerskin has long featured in Salish design and the jacket is named after a variation of “decoy,” which references the jacket’s deer-fur-like GORE-TEX print. The long-sleeve shirt nods to Cedar, known as the tree of life in Salish culture, and the art of using nature as camouflage. The collection also features stitching elements in a Salish mountain design, honoring traditional Salish weaving patterns.

Observer x Valstar Chase Jacket

Robert Spangle is a former US Marine who trained as a tailor on Savile Row and has reported on conflicts from Iraq to Ukraine. His label, Observer, designs for people who travel often, and the Chase Jacket is his take on the bomber.
Spangle developed it with Valstar’s Creative Director, Luigi Fila, over more than a year. The bomber has military roots, which suit a former Marine. Valstar’s Valstarino, from 1935, turned the A-1 flight jacket into something civilian men could wear in the city. Spangle says he wanted a jacket he would “genuinely want to live and travel in.”
It’s a nappa leather bomber with supple suede sleeves. A hidden pocket pleat adds range of motion without changing the jacket’s line, and a rear action pleat adds flexibility. Valstar says it was tested on assignments from Ukraine to Milan, Paris, Prague, Seville and the US. Only 30 will be made, each crafted to order, at $2,150.
