Buyer's Guide

Maxpedition Fliegerduffel

avg. reader score
10.0

The Rambo of duffel bags, the Fliegerduffel is tough as nuts and makes lesser duffels more than a tad nervous. Abrasion-resistant construction with a water-resistant coating and reinforced stitching sets this duffel up for demanding expeditions near and far. There’s versatile portability all round, with grab handles, a shoulder strap and stowable backpack straps. Exterior PALS webbing along with pockets left, right and center (quite literally) means you won’t be lacking in the organization department. Compression straps on both the inside and outside of the bag help with load compression, while the clamshell opening takes the hassle out of packing and accessing your gear. All of this in a size that accommodates most airline carry-on restrictions, so the Fliegerduffel is ready for take-off whenever duty calls or adventure beckons.
