CARRYOLOGIST IN NEED We've had another msg from one of our readership in need of a carry recommendation and, since it worked so well last time, we decided to serve it up to our savvy readership. Think you're up to it? Of course you are! Here's the criteria: I'm looking for a gym/workout backpack combined with a few commuter features. In my ideal world this backpack would have a ventilated shoe or wet/dry compartment, at least one exterior side bottle holder, tons of organization for gym-related and other things like headphones, lock, sunglasses, pens, etc. Enough capacity to hold a couple of pairs of runners and my gym clothes, with enough leftover capacity to, say, pick up a bottle of wine or run a quick errand on my way home. It would have a laptop compartment and not look completely out of place at the office, but be durable enough for a quick commute or to be stuffed into a gym locker. Does something like that exist? Oh yeah, it needs to be available for purchase in Canada I've looked at the Mountain Equipment Co-op 30L Darwin backpack, even tried it out, but the main compartment is pretty full when a single pair of shoes and gym clothes are thrown in, and the side pocket is too shallow such that a tall water bottle falls out. *No room for that bottle of wine and extra pair of shoes (and no ventilated compartment, but otherwise I could live with it). Any advice is much appreciated!

We might have a new EDC belt on the scene....but we're not sure if it trumps the @Arcteryx H.150 yet. https://t.co/p5CgAx48lu

We've all got these: wishlists of carry we'd love to add to our collection if only coin wasn't an issue. So we'd thought it would be fun if we asked our contributors for theirs.... http://www.carryology.com/bags/carry-wishlist-2014-brian/

BAMIN are doing some really wild stuff. Modular pieces allow you to build your own unique bag, exactly how you want it. Boundary pushing. What do you think about this concept?
