Taken with practical, pared-back design

Taikan Everything Collection 001

Vancouver-based Taikan Everything believe less is more. That’s why they take a simple, functional and clean approach to design. New for A/W 2016, their Collection 001 features classic styling and durable quality, while remaining attractively affordable. The collection includes four pieces that can take on the changing needs of everyday, work and travel carry. Available in Black, Navy, Olive and Multi colorways, the collection features the Lancer Backpack, Tomcat Backpack, Sherpa Totebag and Prowler Dufflebag. Each piece is constructed using ballistic nylon and leather detailing, with unisex designs to suit a range of users and a choice of pockets to keep smaller items in check.

Rolling over the hurdles of traditional wheeled carry-on

G-RO Carry-On Bag

Who doesn’t want their travels to be smooth sailing? Unfortunately, disruptions can happen right from the get-go. The culprit? Wheeled carry-on luggage. Many rolling carry-on designs hit a stumbling block encountering anything more challenging than an airport floor. Not great considering traveling can involve a host of changing terrains. Created through a desire for a better way to travel, the G-RO Carry-On Bag turns traditional luggage wheel design on its head. The bag features large-diameter wheels that can handle a variety of terrains, making maneuverability easier and smoother. Adding to the easier movement is a long ergonomic handle that can be adjusted to a range of heights to suit different users. The G-RO also packs in plenty of other travel-friendly features such as compartments and pockets for clothing and tech, a built-in tablet stand, plus an optional power supply and location tracker. For further details or to pre-order the bag visit the G-RO Indiegogo campaign.

Snapping in style

Lomo'Instant Camera Bag

Giving instant photography a boost of style is the work of…well, an instant with the Lomo’Instant Camera Bag. A collaboration between Lomography and Bangkok-based design outfit Above the Fray, the bag will have onlookers snapping to attention with its smart looks and minimalist design. Handcrafted with vegetable-tanned leather that will develop a distinct patina over time, the bag features a seamless folded design for protection against rips. An internal leather divider helps organize the contents, while the exterior strap is adjustable and can be removed if desired. The bag is designed to accommodate a Lomo’Instant camera, lenses and film, but is versatile enough to carry small daily essentials too.

A chic carry vessel for wherever the wind blows you

Bedouin Foundry Bosun's Tote

Meticulous handcrafted construction. Beautiful materials. Casually refined style that turns heads. A lifetime guarantee on workmanship and materials. All the things that make people fall for Bedouin Foundry bags are showcased to Bedouin’s exacting standards with their new release, the Bosun’s Tote. This handsome hauler is made by hand in England, and features a classy combination of Scottish waxed canvas to keep the weather at bay, top-grain vegetable-tanned leather, and natural cotton webbing. To complement the hard-wearing materials, the roll-top design is secured with a tough AustriAlpin Cobra buckle. For organization, the tote includes double sleeve pockets on both exterior sides, and an interior sleeve that fits up to a 15″ laptop. Stylish looks, solid construction and a versatile design makes this a multifunctional piece for work and the weekend.
