HAERFEST’s new harvest

Week In Review ~ 19 January

HAERFEST, who are known for their urban-friendly carry, will soon be releasing their new Collection F near the end of January. You can expect new colorways including green, red and navy but instead of having to wait how about a little sneak peek to see for yourself? Find out more here.

Getting away from it all with Gregory

If you’re leaving urban confines in favor of the great outdoors, the Gregory Contour 50 backpack is eager to come along for the ride and promises to carry its own weight (plus a bit extra) along the way. The pack will hold enough for the likes of a weekend away (or longer if you’re super-efficient) and comes in three sizes ranging from 50 liters to 54 liters in volume. The pack incorporates Gregory’s Trail Smart Packing System which provides three different zones in the pack according to how readily accessible the contents need to be.

Out with the old, in with the new

Week In Review ~ 19 JanuaryIt’s been with you for years, traveled to far and distant lands (not to mention countless visits to your local supermarket), it’s carried your life within its enveloping embrace. But it’s tired now. It’s served you well – or maybe not so well, but at least gotten you by. It’s time to give it the rest it deserves… Getting rid of a handbag can be a tricky thing. As with all faithful carry, you may have formed an emotional attachment to it but if it now looks like the dog’s favorite chew toy it’s time for a change. Travelteq aims to make the change as painless as possible with their new Lauren leather iPad handbag. The bag is handmade with Florentine Vachetta leather with four compartments, one of which holds a phone and the other either an iPad or laptop up to 11 inches. It’s got smart style for the office but looks just as good while grabbing some milk from the shops.

Mining Etsy for carry gold

Week In Review ~ 19 January

It’s easy to lean towards well established brands when looking for your next carry fix but they aren’t the only place you can find great carry. Etsy is a gold mine for a variety of carry items, often available at very reasonable prices too. The SunriseNomad wallet/card holder for instance is a sleek piece of minimalist carry that’s a compact, light wallet and light on your wallet too. So the next time you’re in the market for new carry, why not have a browse on Etsy and see what’s on offer – just be warned though, you can easily spend hours getting lost amongst all the carry goodness.
