Locating lost keys

Around the world people carry keys every day and it’s not unreasonable to think that items carried so frequently would always be close at hand, their owners taking comfort in the knowledge that their keys are safe, secure and easily accessible.

Yeah, right. Blame it on absentmindedness, distractions, inquisitive kids, hungry pets or gremlins jonesing for shiny things but there’s no denying that keys excel at disappearing acts.

Mashable recently threw up an article that showcased a bunch of apps that are great at helping you not lose your keys (or finding them if you do 🙂 ) All the apps are usable on both iOS and Android smartphones, there’s a range of prices, as well as different features so you can find the one that best suits your needs.

Some might not be available yet (interesting possibilities of technology), some you could use for locating other things too such as a dog on walks. If we’re going to suggest any to use though it’d be Tile and hipKey. Both are attachable to your keys and run an easy app.
