Road Tests :: Incase Nylon Backpack
Earlier this year Incase released a new shape for it’s popular Nylon Backpack. Given how well my previous Nylon had held up I thought it might an idea to Road Test this new shape and compare the two. I’ve only got shots of the new bag on this post, but for comparison sake you can check my old one here and here.

The new Nylon Backpack features a plush faux-fur lined notebook compartment with breathable side panels, enhanced access and impact protection that will fit up to a 17″ MacBook Pro, as well as an interior slip pocket for an iPad and a dedicated zippered iPhone/iPod pocket with faux-fur lining.

It also features padded back panels and shoulder straps, a padded top-loading handle and interior organization (as does pretty much every pack).

Features wise, it’s fairly similar to the previous model, but I’ve already noticed that there are some things that Incase chose to omit in the new one – like the waist and chest straps that helped  if you were carrying heavy loads.

Shape wise, it’s quite different. Gone is the old shape that is quite rectangular and blocky, replaced with a more tapered oval inspired shape that can somewhat flatten when empty and looks like it will expand out comfortably when loaded up.

Take a look at the shots, let us know if you’ve been using one and what your thoughts are. I’ll post back here in a month or so with a wrap up on how it’s been performing…
