Buyer's Guide

Arc’teryx Khamski 38

avg. reader score

HAVEN'T RATED

Used by some of the best and designed for those energetic skiing and snowboarding trips, the Khamski comes with everything you’ll need to make the most out of those slopes. It has a nice kangaroo pocket that is perfect for a shovel, probe, and snow science equipment. Plus some space to put skins in on the way down. Everything else goes in the main compartment, which has a side zip that allows you to access everything without unpacking every time.

the good
  • Love the 420 ACT nylon shell
  • Light and waterproof
  • I liked the minimal waist-belt
  • I often wear layers in the winter which negate the need for heavy padding
the not so good
  • For backcountry use, I don’t know we’d travel too far without an airbag system.
