An awesome take on the carabiner, attractive and minimal carry for tiny lenses and a stylish billfold that embraces coins are just some of the tasty treats we’ve got lined up for you this week. So sit back, relax and take a tour of some intriguing happenings in the wide world of carry…

Compact carry for photography on the go

Week In Review ~ 27 April

Following their highly successful Kickstarter campaign offering photography lenses for use with mobile phones, Moment decided that a protective and easily accessible carrying solution for their lenses was in order. So they teamed up with Black Anchor Workshop to create a leather lens holster. The holster is made from English Bridle leather and is lined with microsuede. It features a magnetic closure and a clip that enables it to be carried on the likes of a belt or pocket or around your neck on a necklace, so you can enjoy easy snapping on the go.

Week In Review ~ 27 April

If you’re in the market for premium carry pieces (or just love drooling over photos of such pieces) then Frank Clegg’s Fall/Winter 2014 pieces are sure to provide plenty of perusing pleasure. Featuring the likes of briefcases, duffles, totes and messenger bags, there’s more than enough carry candy here to satisfy even the most sweet-toothed of carry connoisseurs.

A versatile carry solution that will have you hooked in no time

Week In Review ~ 27 April

Sometimes you need a hook, sometimes you need a carabiner and at other times you just need both. The Qlipter offers a clever and highly multifunctional combination of both. The hook rotates for added flexibility and features a rubber piece that provides enhanced grip. The Qlipter can be used in a variety of situations, from hanging a camping pack so it’s off the ground to attaching luggage pieces together for easier portability. The current Kickstarter campaign has already surpassed its funding goal but there is still plenty of time to go before it finishes for anyone who is keen to get a Qlipter for themselves.

Keeping coins, cash and cards easily accessible wherever you go

Week In Review ~ 27 April

It’s been said that if you want to be as minimal as possible when it comes to your wallet, coins just aren’t going to feature in it. That’s all very well and good but sometimes you just need to have coins on you – and preferably without the accompanying jingle that goes with carrying them in a pocket. If you like the easy access of a billfold but have to carry coins as well, Roberu’s Short wallet offers a stylish solution for keeping cards, bills and coins together in one place. Handmade out of leather, the wallet incorporates a designated coin section that opens up so you can easily see and access the coins within it in addition to any notes and cards you want to carry.

The North Face Purple Label embraces rugged flower fashion

Week In Review ~ 27 April

The North Face Purple Label has teamed up with American fashion designer Mark McNairy to create the Spring/Summer 2014 “Daisy Camouflage” collection. Taking inspiration from McNairy’s daisy camouflage print but constructed out of water-repellent and wind-resistant Pertex fabric, the carry pieces within the collection include a backpack, waist bag, as well as packing cases which are all available through nanamica.
