Tumi celebrates four decades in the industry, Everlane embraces understated chic and a new Topo Designs offering packs a punch in the versatility department – discover more in our Week In Review…

Birthday celebrations that go back to the beginning

TUMI 1975 collection

Tumi are 40 years old and celebrating in a suitably appropriate style – the release of their 1975 Collection. The pieces in the collection, which includes a variety of styles such as a duffel, backpack, briefcase, passport cover and wheeled carry-on bag, pay homage to Tumi’s early pieces and take inspiration from the South American leather used by Tumi in 1975. Crafted in the USA and available from April, the pieces feature Tumi’s signature ballistic nylon and American full-grain leather. They’re also individually numbered, so anyone who manages to get hold of one can enjoy that little bit of extra pride that comes with knowing you’ve secured a classy limited-edition item.

Flexible style that won’t break the bank

Everlane Black Twill Collection

Everlane are all about quality goods at affordable prices. No doubt something bag lovers can get behind. Make a stylish piece of carry in black and the chances are pretty good it’ll get used in all sorts of situations for years to come. Fancy all of this in one easily covetable collection? Sorted. Meet the new Black Twill Collection from Everlane which includes the elegantly understated Reverse-Denim Weekender, Twill Snap Backpack and Twill Zip Tote in black cotton twill with black leather detailing.

 Topo tackles the all-rounder challenge

Topo Designs Mountain Pack

Is there one bag that can meet your every carry need? Some call it a myth. Topo Designs calls it the Mountain Pack. Maybe it’s not going to cover everybody’s carrying needs – but it does a fine job of being versatile. Rugged construction, plenty of pockets for work tools or play tools, daisy chain webbing for attaching extra gear if required, a chest strap and removable waist strap, along with top and side access make this a handy all-rounder whether you’re hopping on a plane, heading to work or hitting the trails in search of outdoor adventure.

Durable goods with go-anywhere aesthetics

Burton Beagle Brown Bag Collection

Sometimes you like to keep your options open. Sometimes you need the freedom to glide between work, travel and leisure. Sometimes certain bags just get in the way. Not so with the Burton Durable Goods Beagle Brown Bag Collection. Packs, totes, wheeled luggage and more feature in the collection, all in an attractive, ready-for-anything Beagle Brown waxed canvas that looks good wherever you may find yourself. So whether you’re going for drinks after the office, kicking back in the airport lounge or just out and about, these bags will keep things stylish.
