Looking for a fix of new carry? We’ve got it right here with the Week In Review where we’re shining the spotlight on new offerings from folks such as Chrome and Eastpak, while throwing in some classy-looking wallet carry and a solution to chair-carrying woes for good measure…

Chrome wheels out new rolltops

Week In Review ~ 23 February

Chrome’s new collection of Knurled Welded rolltops are the kind of bags that make you hope for torrential downpours just so you can grab your bike, throw your gear in your bag and set off pedaling into the storm with a maniacal grin, daring the weather to do its worst. Of course, these welded waterproof bags do just fine in drizzly commutes too and feature Hypalon MOLLE loops for customizing them to your carry needs.

A little bit of Eastpak exclusivity for your carry quiver

Week In Review ~ 23 February

If you like a dash of exclusivity with your carry, the Torber Digin backpack may become the newest addition to your carry collection. The pack is a new SS14 offering from Eastpak that forms part of their Authentic Digin range. It’s constructed out of cotton canvas with leather detailing and has a choice of pockets for organization as well as a padded laptop sleeve. If this pack has captured your fancy you’ll need to be quick off the mark, as only 250 have been produced.

Butler is well known for his Rad Cars With Rad Surfboards series and the new collection of carry pieces take color inspiration from Butler’s illustrations while featuring exterior and interior prints of his work. Classy carry for cards and cash

Week In Review ~ 23 February

If you’ve not come across Inkleaf Leather’s Double-Cross wallet yet and are in the market for smart pocket carry minimalism it’s well worth checking out. Each wallet is made with a single piece of Horween Chromexcel leather and stitched by hand with waxed Irish linen thread. The wallet holds folded cash and up to 6 cards, though it will accommodate more cards when the leather is broken in.

An end to the struggles of chair carry

Week In Review ~ 23 FebruaryWhether you’re going camping or spending a day at the beach it’s nice to be able to bring some home comfort with you in the form of folding chairs, thereby avoiding returning with thousands of sandy souvenirs or some muddy vegetation that’s decided to hitch a ride. However, folding chairs are a bit of a carry conundrum. They’re bulky and awkward to carry by hand but what other option do you have? Old faithful, the backpack. How, you ask? Courtesy of the Granite Rocx Tahoe backpack you can now haul seating up hills, down valleys, along beaches and pretty much anywhere you want with hands-free ease. Plus it also comes with a detachable 9-liter insulated cooler, so you can enjoy a refreshing reward after your slog.
