Côte&Ciel Riss

Messengers have traditionally run with a big flap for their closure. While that seals against the weather, the issue is that it's a lot of fabric without much utility. In searching for new solutions, roll-tops, U zips and clam-shells are all being tried, but none have really found the sweet spot.

Côte&Ciel have taken their much loved Isar backpack, and tipped it sideways, to what actually feels like a more natural orientation to this format. The result is a really intuitive and practical messenger, with easy zoning between work and play, as well as Côte&Ciel's typically attractive soft drape front.

This works well in multiple sizes, and brings a really valuable contribution to the messenger format, thoroughly deserving of our award for Best Work Messenger.
