Whether you’re packing for a quick weekend getaway, a business trip, or an extended holiday, you want a bag that’s practical. However, there’s no harm in it looking good too, which is exactly what the Travelteq Voyager does.
The Voyager is handmade in Italy using durable canvas and boasting Florentine Vacchetta leather handles and seams. The bag features an orange lining and two inner zipped compartments that will hold valuable items and small carry objects. In addition there is an open exterior pouch that provides ready access for items such as travel tickets, a passport, a phone, a folded newspaper or magazine and the like.
A nice design touch is having handles which are long enough to carry the bag on your shoulder but it also comes with a handy shoulder strap if you’d like to sling it across your chest or want it sitting slightly lower whilst hanging on your shoulder.
The bag is adjustable in size so it’s suitable for extended breaks or day trips, for example to the beach.
So the above all sounds good and it’s certainly a looker…at this point you may be asking, what’s the catch? Well it’s not cheap. At €620 (roughly $770), this bag is the same price as a short holiday. Still, who needs sun and stress-free relaxation…it’s overrated anyway when you can sit in your garden, put some sunscreen on and try really, really hard to imagine blue waves.

I love the color combos, and that extra magazine pocket is very useful
I think that this is a beautiful bag. Maybe a bit over priced, but I love raw canvas as a material for weekenders. My only concern about the design is that I think it may be a bit bigger that other weekenders. Maybe that means it can be used in more diverse situations, but it also means there is more material for you to carry around. I’d love to see one in person and see how it stacks up to the other bags I’ve seen.
