The Free Key – A better keyring?

The Free Key – A better keyring?

This is neat. After exploring better ways to carry keys a while ago, it’s exciting to see a product like this hit the market. And while it might not necessarily be better way to carry your keys, it’s definitely a better way to manage your keys.

Free Key, created by Eric von Schoultz, is made from sand blasted stainless steel – nothing too new there, but it’s the function of the keyring that is impressive – you can press/pinch the the keyring and the leverage opens up the keyring allowing easy addition of keys to the ring. No more cut fingers or broke nails.

Can’t find anywhere to buy them as of yet, which is a bummer as I’d like to buy some haha…

Have you guys got any secrets to better carrying of keys?

  1. Can you PLEASE let us know when/where they are available to buy? I can’t read the website and clicking anywhere to get to a ‘buy’ page sent me to another site I can’t read. Great find. Thanks!

These folks have them for ~$8, but shipping to the USA is a minimum of $33:

  5. In case there are any Canadians out there looking for the Freekey, my online store will be the first to carry them! Our shipment will arrive by the end of this week. Come on over — your fingernails will thank you!

I woul like to able to purchase these key rings. Please let me know when you are available.

    • Hi Wendell, they are in my store right now! Come on over…

I live in Canada and just ordered one of these from your store. The shipping ($1.00) is far more reasonable. Exotac wanted $14.95US to ship the same thing, and it was only a dollar cheaper than your store for the actual keyring.

        Thanks, what a cool deal.

        • Hi Steve,

Thank you for your order – it’ll go out tomorrow!

I can’t imagine why it would cost that much to ship to Canada, as the packaging and the keyring itself is so streamlined. I’m the only Canadian retailer/etailer of the Freekey so far, and I hope it stays that way for a while!

          Much appreciated.
          Tamara
