Dig or Diss | Sternum Straps
How good are sternum straps?! We love them, hence why this is a big old DIG.
Done right these really do help stabilise your pack and reduce that heavy feeling load slinking it’s way down your back, which eventually gives you the crazy back cramps and shoulder pain. When looking at a backpack that has sternum straps, you probably want to look for something that isn’t too narrow, or too wide, it should be a good solid width. The buckle is another thing to look at – make sure its sturdy enough to hold the weight, but not so big it looks like you’re carrying a baby on the front…

Pingback: Dig or Diss | Strap & Loads Adjustment | Purses & Bags & Luggages 2011
Have you ever seen a girl with this thing? Especially a non-flat one? These are pure evil. They promise stabilisation, but (if you can buckle at all!) for the cost of not being able to breathe or having nasty sores all over your breasts. Add awful disfiguration of breasts, destroying bras (and good bras for large brasts are hard to find and cost fortune) and a man, who will want some cuddling at the end of the day.
Definitely diss!
(Now I started considering bras as carry objects. It is kind of true, right?)
